Your mother told you breakfast was the most important meal of the day. Intermittent fasting isn’t a bad thing to take up once in a while, but long term you definitely want to feed your body premium fuel.
What is the difference between premium fuel and regular fuel? Why does one cost more than the other? The difference is in terms of the quality based on how the energy is released. You have high quality gasoline and inferior quality gasoline. What does low quality do over time? There’s a reason why high performance cars need 93, not 89, and 87.
The inferior quality isn’t time-released to maximize sustenance. Watch the video above where I analogize this to food – it’s like refined carbohydrates where it takes the energy source and releases it all at once in a quick burst. So you get the insulin spike and quick energy, but you are going to get the crash. Or, you can get the high quality stuff, and it is going to release the energy over a long period of time.
