Every time I do a workout I ask myself a question: “How do I trick my body today? How can I trick my body?” because it is like a chess match. You have to understand, your body is a survival mechanism, so it is very good at adapting. If you present it with the same stimulus over and over again, it is not going to have the need to grow because it says “We have already done that, we can handle it.” So you have to push your body to certain limits to give it a need to grow, otherwise it is going to stay the same.
