Sometimes we just love people because of what they give us.

Even our parents, children, spouses…we love them conditionally, meaning we want them to fit inside a mold, a box.
And if they venture outside that box, it creates uncertainty for us.

This isn’t pure love.

Loving the person is loving them regardless of what faults they have and what they temporarily do.

Does that mean you let them commit faults?
No!

Loving their soul means you protect their soul and any deviation from that is a violation of their personal truth.
However, sometimes our interpretation of what their truth is, becomes highly flawed and perhaps it’s us that needs the adjustment and not them.
