Everyone you look up to is a master of their craft.

What makes you a master? Doing that work over and over again. If you don’t feel like it, you won’t be great at your craft. To feel like doing it, you must truly understand what you’re doing it for. Your why!

Michael Jordan’s standard was that he wanted to be the best that ever lived. That requires a different standard. That means giving it your all during practice.

He used to play on one team with the starters in practice. They’d be up 6-0 in a game to 11. Then, he’d go on the other team with the reserves and fight his way back to win the game. That’s excellence. That’s a professional.

My level of standard isn’t just to influence and change someone who comes to me but to get someone too live out their purpose who isn’t interested in me. Huge difference.
